BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM

The program was formed around the philosophy that leadership is process rather than a title. As a participant goes through the program we try to focus on the growth of the participant rather than the event itself. Some of the benefits include:

Networking opportunities – the administrative staff work hard to create opportunities for the participants to meet fellow young leaders, people in their academic/professional fields, and leaders who reach out to share their experiences with participants.

Opportunities for further growth. We make sure that we the passion and motivation that participants develop during the program does not diminish. We constantly follow up with opportunities catered to the participant’s interest to lead in fields that they are passionate about. Opportunities include further leadership training and personal development, internships, mentorships from our ally organizations…etc.

Professional growth – we believe that young people will bring professionalism to a whole new level. These skills will aid them in career development. Professionalism will not only increase their marketability to the internships and organizations we refer them to, they will also bring a whole new perspective to their respective areas of interest as they climb to success.

Personalized leadership development – we create a leadership development program catered to the participant’s needs to maximize their personal growth. This is done through the application process, the interviews, recommendations, and personal interactions with the participants. Each person grows differently and grows with different needs, each fellowship class will have a different curriculum and different post-fellowship program.

Fellowship building – through the community built through the program, participants creating personal and professional relationships from different leaders from a diversity of backgrounds and interests. Its more than just a regular summit because of the community built around the conference.

Diversity of leadership perspectives – the administrative staff is composed of a diversity of perspectives, cultures, and leadership philosophies from different cultures and parts of the world. We constantly challenge each other to create a global perspective to leadership and civic engagement.
